Our Field Service Team Manager holds a Master of Management Degree and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager Master Level (CHMM). His experience includes 20 years as a regulatory affairs director for a chemical manufacturing company, and his regulatory compliance experience adds significant value to our tank inspection service. Clients can be assured that, prior to any tank inspection, a site-specific Health and Safety Plan is developed and reviewed by appropriate personnel. MTIS also ensures strict compliance with regulations associated with Lock out/Tag out, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Hearing Protection, as well as client-mandated operating procedures.
Our Chief Professional Mechanical Engineer holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and has experience performing fitness for service and integrity assessments of pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, plant and terminal piping and other buried, submerged or atmospherically exposed structures. He is certified as an API-570 Piping Inspector, API-571 Corrosion & Materials Professional, API 510 Pressure Vessels Inspector, API-653 Above-Ground Storage Tank Inspector, NACE International CP Specialist, Coating Inspector Program - Level 2 and an STI Cathodic Protection Tester. Our professional engineer has experience in NDT, Safe Work Practices and also has an MBA in Operations Management. He is a multi-state licensed engineer, a certified New Hampshire DES UST Class A & B Operator and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, Canada.
Our Senior Licensed Electrician holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie School of Business. He is a certified, multi-state electrical inspector, who holds a hydraulic operator license and is MDE Tank installer/inspector certified. He is also a CA tank tester and service technician, PHMSA HM-180 trained, a NACE coating inspector, STIP3 Cathodic tester and an ASME DV-1 GTAW welder. A member of Steamfitters local 602, our licensed electrician has working knowledge, certifications and experience with CARB UST/AST Stage 1, Veeder Root, Omega Flex, Cummins Generator Service, DECC Johnson Mathey, APT, including Smith and Ameron Pipe.

Since the inception of MTIS, we are proud to report Zero OSHA Recordable Incidences. Most recently, we supplied our OSHA 300 logs to a Fortune 100 company. The company's safety officer espressed being overwhelmed by the fact that all incident line items were zero. A great part of this is due to our employees being regularly trained and certified in safety measures. An even more significant reason is because our employees are committed to a safe working environment for themselves and others. No job is undertaken without a comprehensive safety review to assure proper training and personal protective equiment are built into the project.
